AI Center Samsung Electronics Opens in Russia
AI Center Samsung Electronics has opened in BC White Square owned by O1 Properties in Moscow. The AI Center occupies 2,047 sq. m in Building C. CBRE provided the services of advisor and management company for interior fit-out, whereas Gint-M was general contractor and designer in this project, having performed a full range of design, construction, fit-out and MEP installation works in the client’s premises. Among the key areas of research in the new Center will be computer vision and basic algorithms for AI platforms. The Center will broaden the scope of Samsung’s research activities in the field of artificial intelligence for such key sectors as robotics, intelligent independent control systems, and others.
“This was one of the most ambitious, daunting and challenging projects for us – both in terms of solutions integrated therewith and deadlines. We had only 2.5 months at our disposal, that’s tough,” says Artem Panteleev, Business Development Director, Gint-M. “But the commitment and involvement of the Client’s representatives, fast-paced finalization of all solutions, the concerted effort of the project’s stakeholders – the whole of it helped us put all our plans into effect on a high international level and within the set deadlines.” Earlier in May 2018 Samsung opened two new AI Centers in Cambridge (UK) and Toronto (Canada).
