Gint-M has completed an office for Dell, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of computer equipment. The 2,400-sqm office is accommodated in Naberezhnaya Tower BC, MIBC Moscow City. As the general contractor, Gint-M took charge of the entire range of general construction works including the installation of mechanical and electric equipment as well as feeble current systems. The company also prepared detailed design. The comprehensive implementation of this project including its design, dismantling of the previous office, and building a new one – took four months.

There’s an open space layout with three kitchens, a coffee point, several meeting rooms, a CEO office and a relaxation area also integrated into the office. “The interior space geometry deserves a special mention, since the walls and partitions are placed at a
supplementary rather than direct angle. This trick made the interior more dynamic, but complicated the task of the builders as they had to adapt profile lamps, ceiling panels and floorings to this intricate geometry,” says Business Development Director of Gint-M Artem Panteleev. Soundproofing was a special concern: the walls in the working areas are finished with special acoustic wallpaper or panels while in the meeting zones veneered perforated panels were set up to amplify the soundproofing effect. The services in the ceiling space laid bare and painted white are partly covered with Armstrong panels suspended by cables in several zones. The office style is rather neutral, with corporate colours (blue and white) chosen for the laconic reception zone. You repeatedly come across this juxtaposition in surface finishes and furnishings as well. Wood veneer used to finish the doors and walls in the meeting rooms and even an amphitheatre in the recreation area is called to emphasize the company’s status and its background. The kitchen and public spaces look more informal with their eye-catching colour accents, lamps of extraordinary geometry, informal little sofas and armchairs. Lath partitions are used in the office to divide space into thematic zones while preventing its visual
overloading. However, we see transformable partitions in the meeting zones since they can split the space into several autonomous sections depending on the company’s needs, or arrange a large area for corporate meetings and consultations.
